Studies indicate that TPGS is absorbed better than fat soluble forms of
vitamin E in patients with impaired digestion and absorption and when
coadministered with cyclosporin to transplant recipients it improves cyclosporin
absorption. Due to these findings, this product has a valuable role in the liver
transplant patient population. |
