Action |

Substituted imidazole derivative which inhibits metabolic reactions necessary
for the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential membrane component. The end result
is usually fungistatic; however, sulconazole may act as a fungicide in
Candida albicans and parapsilosis during certain growth
phases. |
