Neonates:
Ophthalmic: Prophylaxis of neonatal gonococcal or chlamydial conjunctivitis:
0.5-1 cm ribbon of ointment should be instilled into each conjunctival sac
Children and Adults:
Ophthalmic: Instill one or more times daily depending on the severity of the
infection
Topical: Apply 2% solution over the affected area twice daily after the skin
has been thoroughly washed and patted dry |
